AMELANCHIER alnifolia
var. pumila
This unusual but distinctive form is not really a tree, being more shrub like with dense branching. The leaves are almost heart shaped and the white flowers in spring are just as lovely as the others in the genus. |

x grandiflora 'Autumn Brilliance' As the name implies, this lovely form was selected for particularly attractive autumn colours. |

AMELANCHIER
x grandiflora 'Ballerina' We used to grow this many years ago. I recently realised what an undervalued genus Amelanchier is and vowed to add to our collection; the first step being to propagate those cultivars which we already have. This hybrid has huge creamy white flowers, clearly displayed against the rich green foliage. Wonderful autumn colour is almost a bonus. |

AMELANCHIER x grandiflora 'Rubescens' The pinkest of the group, with bronze young leaves. The flowers are deep pink in bud, opening paler. |

AMELANCHIER lamarckii
Wonderful small tree which is suitable for absolutely any garden! The coppery young growth contrasts well with the many bunches of white flowers in April, followed by black fruits. Good autumn colours too. Thrives in moist, rich soil. |

AMELANCHIER
ovalis 'Edelweiss' Definitely a shrub, upright in habit with rounded leaves which appear glaucous due to thick indumentum. Large creamy white flowers in short, erect racemes. Red fruit be comes black. |
